| 1946 | Basra, Iraq | Victors father, Shalom Fathi, was born in Baghdad, Iraq and later moved to Basra, Iraq where he married his wife, Simcha, and had Victor. After the establishment of the state of Israel, tensions began to rise for Jewish people in Iraq subjecting him and his family to antisemitism. In 1951, due to the rise in antisemitism, Victor, at six years old, and his family packed up their belongings, and made their way to Iran. | 1960 | Ettefagh School | Growing up in Tehran, Iran, Victor had a fulfilling Jewish childhood with the large Jewish community that existed in Iran under the Shah (king) at the time. Victor attended Ettefagh School, a private Jewish school in Tehran where he had studies in Hebrew, English, Farsi, and French. | 1972 | Eilat, Israel | Once finishing school, Victor met his soon to be wife, Nina, a girl from another Jewish family that went to the same school as them and grew up with Victors sister, Virginia. Nina and Victor got married in 1973. On their honeymoon, Nina and Victor took one of the many direct flights to Israel from Iran at that time. | 1972 | Tehran Grand Bazaar | Gearing into his late twenties, Victor worked at Tehran Grand Bazaar (market) selling rugs. He traveled to various different countries, including Germany, Italy, Lebanon, Israel, South Africa, etc., for work. In 1975, Victor and Nina had their first child, Caroline. As political conflict began to rise within the region, antisemitism rose with it. | 1978 | London | In 1978, right before the Islamic Revolution, Victor and Nina took the last flights out of Iran with their families. In immigrating to London, the Fathi family changed their surname to "Faith." At this time, Nina was pregnant with their second child, Richard. Having left everything behind, Victor and Nina settled in London, where they planned to start their lives over. | 1982 | Key Biscayne, Florida | In 1982, in the interest of business, and because they hated the cold weather, Victor relocated with his wife and two kids to Key Biscayne, Florida. Victor began working with the Miami Freezone to import rugs to sell in Miami, Nina continued her work as a hairdresser, and Richard and Caroline attended Gulliver Prepatory in Coral Gables, Florida. After graduating from Gulliver Prepartory, Caroline attended Florida International University, and recieved a Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management. | 2000 | Aventura, FL, USA (Miami) | Shortly after graduating and recieving a job in construction and interior design, Caroline moved to Aventura, Florida, where Victor and Nina shortly followed. Victor helped to bring the rest of his family from London to Miami, where they began to build their futures in one final destination after their constant movement. Years down the line, Victor opened his own carpet business known as "Faith Oriental Rugs." Eventually expanding his business, Victor and his siblings established "Faith Investment Properties," later known as "The Faith Group."
